Tagged by Sherry

I got tagged by Sherry and  here is her link

The rules are:

  1. Link to the person who tagged you.
  2. Post the rules on your blog.
  3. Write six random things about yourself.
  4. Tag six people at the end of your post.
  5. Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
  6. Let the tagger know your entry is up.

Well..., now I should write something about myself. It's not easy job, but let me try:
  1. I enjoy my life, love the world and hopefully the world will love me by giving me a change to travel around it and to explore all the beautiful things on it.
  2. I love traveling and hoping that I can still do it for the rest of my life.
  3. I stopped doing exercise for almost 3 months coz I was so lazy to leave my comfortable couch (meaning watching television after work was nicer than workout). The result was bad that I gained weight so quickly and I feel not really fit anymore. Finally after hardly convinced my self that doing exercise is one of the best ways to maintain healthy and happy life, I managed to go to gym again!
  4. I love good food especially Indonesian,Chinese and Japanese food. Actually almost all oriental food including Thais, Vietnamase (loempia...what else) and others.
  5. I like to listen to the music....any kind..and still keep a dream that one day I have a chance to learn and to play piano.
  6. I'm very moody that's why I need to tell myself again and again to stick to these wise sentences, otherwise I will lose the focus and feel unhappy: "The sky is the limit" and "Don't worry be happy".

And I'll be glad to tag...

Lake Toba, Samosir, Berastagi and Medan (North Sumatra)

The province of North Sumatra stretches across the island of Sumatra between the Indian Ocean and the Strait Malacca. It borders Aceh province on the northwest and Riau and West Sumatra provinces on the southeast. It has an area of 70787 km². The province contains a broad, low plain along the Strait of Malacca coast. In the south and west, the land rises to the mountain range that runs the length of Sumatra; the mountains here are dominated by Lake Toba, formed from the caldera of an ancient volcano.

Medan is the capital of the province of North Sumatra, Indonesia. Located in the northern part of the province along the coast, Medan is the third largest city in Indonesia. The city is bordered by Deli Serdang Regency to the east, south, and west, and the Strait of Malacca to the north.

Lake Toba (Indonesian: Danau Toba) is a lake and supervolcano, 100 km long and 30 km wide, and 505 m. (1,666 ft.) at its deepest point, in the middle of the northern part of the Indonesian island of Sumatra with a surface elevation of about 900 m (3,000 feet). It is the largest volcanic lake in the world. In addition, it is the site of the 75,000-year-old supervolcanic eruption, the largest in the last 25 million years; where it staged a massive climate-changing event that scientists believe might have wiped out much of humanity.

Samosir, or Pulau Samosir, is a large volcanic island in Lake Toba. Lake Toba is located in the north of the island of Sumatra in Indonesia.
The lake and island were formed after the eruption of a super volcano some 75 000 years ago. The island was originally connected to the surrounding caldera wall by a small isthmus, which was cut through to aid navigation.
At 630km², Samosir is also notable as being the largest island within an island, and the fifth largest lake island in the world.
Samosir is a popular tourist destination due to the fantastic vistas it offers. The tourist resorts are concentrated in the Tuktuk area. The island is the centre of the Batak culture and many of this people's artifacts remain on the island.

Economic recession coming soon?

It's not a good news what I heard lately. People begin to worry for what gonna happen here. They worry if they can not pay the mortgage anymore, even worse losing the job. It seems that we will face hard and tough time the coming months.

I think by myself is it so bad? Don't we deserve to enjoy life even the world is facing recession? I do really hope that in good and bad times I still can enjoy life and doing things that make life more beautiful.

Dear friends, I hope that all of you just like me still enjoy life even unpleasant period coming soon.

Cheers,
Dewi
