This year will be the Year of the Pig. There is a large Chinese community in Amsterdam which means big celebrations in the city, with traditional fireworks and lion dances.

The Chinese New Year starts on 18 February; this year will be the Year of the Pig. There is a large Chinese community in Amsterdam and every year there are big celebrations in the city, with traditional fireworks and lion dances.


The Nieuwmarkt area is the heart of Chinese Amsterdam and this year Chinese New Year will be celebrated on Saturday 17 February 2007 with a special programme full of fireworks, acrobatics, music, opera and much more.

Ga pernah liat yg begini di Amsterdam dulu2.. tp liat di Rotterdam. Skarang Rcihmond & Granville "Pecinan" di Vancouver.. keknya jadi biasa aja tuh.. abis tiap hari ngliatnya merah, gold, naga he..he..
